Stan's Story
He was raised to respect the value of a dollar.
Stan Jordan knows the value of a dollar and continues to drive a 40-year-old pickup truck that’s logged miles and miles. Some call him cheap, but when tax dollars are dwindling and public programs are scrambling for resources,
Stan will proudly squeeze every penny to protect taxpayers.

This is the only home he’s ever known.
Stan Jordan’s heart and soul are deeply rooted in the First Coast. He was the first in his family to graduate from high school (Andrew Jackson) and college. He and his wife, Shirley, have been active members of their community and faithful servants in their church.

He served our country and continues to honor those who serve.
An enlisted man who rose through the ranks to Army Colonel, Stan Jordan has authored significant legislation that honors Florida’s veterans, including awarding high school diplomas to those who fought in World War II and Korea and scholarships to children of service personnel who are missing or captured. He was a vocal advocate for our National Cemetery and sponsored the bill – which became a model for the nation – that made it a crime to disrupt or desecrate military funerals.

He has cut our taxes and rooted out wasteful spending.
Before tea parties were cool, Stan Jordan was leading the revolution! As both a state and local elected leader, he was a loyal partner of Gov. Jeb Bush as he advanced his conservative agenda of less taxes, more accountability in our schools and more responsibility in state spending. Stan’s recent vote against a proposed hike in property taxes underscores his record and reputation as a consistent conservative.
He owns businesses that create jobs.
Stan Jordan knows what it takes to start – and sustain – a successful business that provides a service, pays taxes and supports families in our community. His three Beach Diners are a throwback to a simpler time and a tribute to his working-class roots.
He puts family first and fights for the traditional values we cherish.
Family has always been at the heart of Stan Jordan’s life. Growing up in Jacksonville, he could count at least 25 relatives within a block of his home. Their influence strengthened his faith, shaped his character and steered his career choices – college, the military, teaching and public service. The Christian values he learned as a child remain fundamental to who he is and how he serves.
